NICER honours Baba Iqbal Singh, 90 with Lifetime Achievement award

An unclean environment is an insult to the Creator. Everything that Nature has created is beautiful. But nature is forced to submit to the mankind’s inexcusable it is only man who makes his environment dirty and, very often, and for reasons best known to himself. It is in his hands to be clean, prevent diseases and prolongs life and its quality. Cleanliness has the power to make mind fresh and open to what is right and shut to predispositions that society today is partial to. We have to take cleanliness beyond every home to neighbourhood, to society and should not stop at developing clean civic habits but also clean social conduct.

The National Institute of Cleanliness Education Research (NICER) today honoured Baba Iqbal Singh, President Kalgidhar Trust and Chancellor of Eternal University, HP with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the Afro-Asian Cleanliness Conference 2016 held at India International Centre, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi. Dr. P R Trivedi, Founder Chancellor, Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University, Arunachal Pradesh and President, Confederations of Indian Universities (CIU) presided over the function. National Institute of Cleanliness Education and Research (NICER) cosponsored by many universities from all over the country and funded by the Afro-Asian-American Chamber of Commerce, Occupational Research and Development (ACCORD) has designed a masterplan paradigm for cleaning up the country.

Baba Iqbal Singh retired as Director Agriculture from Himachal Pradesh in 1986 and thereafter started a small school with 5 students as envisaged by his predeccessors Sant Attar Singh ji and Sant Teja Singh ji, MA LLB AM Harvard.  This fountainhead today has progressed into a chain on 129 rural schools and 2 Private Universities alongwith a host of Social Development programs. One of the most remarkable contribution by Baba Iqbal Singh ji has been the Free Teachers Training Program, which till date has benefitted more than 2000 marginalised girls from rural areas through its free B.Ed training and jobs as Teachers or allied staff. Following the faith that the houses whose daughters are educated are the homes that keep the evil away . Education is the turning point of the clan to be clean. This keeps the society free from gender inequality, empowered, progressive and clean.

‘Clean to Clan’ to Babaji is doing everything that can turn a life around starting from cleaning the environment, sustaining the outer environment as clean as ever extending this to inner self of people for a society that is painstakingly clean. Comprehensive cleanliness to Babaji is a mandate which each one of us should follow – education, gender equality, women empowerment and a soul free from intoxicants all these when practiced together results a society – free from evil, keeps society strong by default to wade away from nefarious  designs.

Clean to Clan thus becomes the foundation of all of Babaji’s work, the comprehensiveness of this mandate works two ways – self to society and society to self, where the outside surroundings adds to totality. Whilst education, empowerment and gender equality brought about cleaning in society on one hand and added to general conscience to keep cleanliness in the surroundings this is well exhibited in village - Lana Bhalta, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. For the uninitiated, ‘Lana Bhalta’ is the winner of Swachh Mission award of Rs. 10 lakhs in Himachal Pradesh amongst 3243 Gram Panchayats. Here there are toilets in each household, a localised system to sift waste from water flowing out of every kitchen into soak pits; and not a scrap of garbage or filthy water is to be seen all under the aegis of Baba Iqbal Singh.

Each of the households in the village has been given a sanitation kit that includes a toilet brush, a jute bag for collecting garbage, a dust pan, a dust bin and a nail cutter. The five anganwadis in the panchayat are equipped with toilets that have special seats for children. Almost all items from the garbage bins are recycled. Raddi (wasted paper) is recycled into paper and stale, oily’ food into manure. Oil-free waste like raw vegetables and left-over food find their way into the vermi compost pit. Nothing is left unused. Waste from building material such as stones, bricks and rubble is used for construction; while glass, tin, shoes, clothes and toys are sold to trash buyers. Toxic waste is burnt in incinerators, while the entire garbage is made bacteria free. , Tthis model is fortified further through grass root level awareness and education to inculcate clean and healthy habits.

When we spoke to Baba  Iqbal Singh ji, he humbly shrugs off the mention of the lifetime achievement award and says “Cleanliness of Environment should be preceded by Cleanliness of the Mind, of the five vices. Pavan paani dharati aakas ghar mandar har bani. i.e. Air, water earth and sky are God's home and temple - sacred places which need to be protected and looked after. ”

Clarification on the Buses Issue on 23^rd Nov ’15 – The Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib

With deep anguish and pain we are sharing this clarification with Sadh Sangat. Since this tirade was carried out in the social media, facebook and whatsapp; initiated through fake ids and vulgar language; hence it did not warrant a rejoinder from us.

We are saddened by the recent accusations and baseless allegations spread against us by some misinformed persons. We wish to clarify that NO vehicle or Bus belonging to Baru Sahib was ever used in the recent political function. 

It is equally sad to see these people, using foul language and profanities against Baba Iqbal Singh ji, who has not only created the largest educational endeavor of the Sikh community but also dedicated his whole life to the Panth. These ignorant sinners manipulated innocent Sangat with falsehood. These are baseless accusations and we request the Revered Sangat not to take this on face value. 

Our heart bleeds when a divine persona like Baba ji is called a “Thug”. What these ignorant do not know is that:

-   Baba Ji left his class-1 job with the Punjab Government. Joined Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Department on a lower post. All as per directions of Sant Teja Singh Ji to realize the Tapo Bhumi of Baru Sahib.

-   He spent all his life-savings, salary & pension on this charitable mission. He never built any house for himself. He retired as Director of Agriculture, H.P.

-   He started the Akal Academy Baru Sahib with 5 students in 1986, which has in 29 years now grown into 129 Schools and 2 Universities with 60,000 students. Besides the Trust runs a 250-bed Hospital, 2 De-addiction Centers and the largest Women Empowerment program in North India.

The greatest contribution of Baru Sahib for Charhdi Kala of the Panth is that all students retain the Sikh attire and begin their day with Nitnem. And all the Gurdwaras within the Schools are maintained and run by the students themselves.

Regarding the recent events:

-   On 21^st November, Saturday, some bus contractors informed us of their inability to operate on 23^rd November, as they were required to make their buses available for one day for the political function.

-   The Principals of these Academies tried hard to dissuade them but they said that they were helpless. Despite all efforts no alternative arrangements could be made at such a short notice.

-   The Principals then consulted parents of the affected Akal Academies to see if the kids could be dropped to school on 23^rd morning. Most disagreed as they felt insecure due to the prevailing uncertainty. The parents informed the Principals of their inability to do so under the present conditions.

It is being clarified that all teachers and Principals reported to school even in the affected academies and classes were held for the students who could manage to come to school by making their own arrangements.

The Actual Facts:

About 1200 buses are used for transporting students in all Akal Academies.

-   Of these, about 200 are owned by The Kalgidhar Trust. All buses did their regular duties.

  None of the Trust owned buses went to any political function.

- 900 are hired by the Trust from Contractors. 20 did not report for duty on 23^rd.

-   About 100 buses are hired directly by the parents and there is no involvement of school in such arrangements. 17 did not report for duty on 23^rd.

Sangat in all its wisdom can see that just 37 buses out of a 1200 (3%) did not report for school duty on that day. This affected transportation of students in 4 Akal Academies out of 129 (3%), where classes were held only for those few students who could manage to reach the school on their own.

It is being stated categorically that:

(i)    Principals and staff of all Akal Academies reported for duty on 23^rd November.

(ii)  Normal classes were held in all the 129 schools other than the 4 affected schools.

May I humbly submit that for contracted buses, we do not have much option except penalizing them for the losses, if they occasionally skip their routes. We are currently in the process of obtaining legal advice regarding feasibility of terminating the contracts of the vendors who did not ply their buses to bring students on 23^rd November despite our strict instructions.

It is sad that after devoting all his life to the Sikh Panth, Baba ji has to witness such animosity from some misguided people. Equally sad is to see that panthic missions like Baru Sahib are being targeted by some vested interests that probably are doing a great disservice to the Sikh community. 

I hope that with these clarifications, misgivings propagated by some misguided persons would be resolved and this unsavory episode comes to an end.

ਅਸੀਂ ਬੜੇ ਦੁਖੀ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਧ-ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ, ਫੇਸ-ਬੁੱਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਟਸ-ਅੱਪ ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਕਲੀ ਆਈ.ਡੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬੜੇ ਅਪਮਾਨ-ਜਨਕ ਤੇ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬੜੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਬਾਬਾ ਇਕਬਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵਰਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਧ-ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬਿਲਕੁੱਲ ਬੇ-ਬੁਨਿਆਦ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਉਪਰ ਲਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਹੋਈ ਰਾਜ਼ਨੀਤਿਕ ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਬੱਸ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਧਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਬੜੇ ਹੀ ਦੁਖ ਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤੀ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੈੜੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਵਰਤ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਪਸਾਰ ਲਈ ਕਰੜੀ ਘਾਲਨਾ ਘਾਲੀ ਬਲਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਤਰ ਲੋਕ ਭੋਲੀ-ਭਾਲੀ ਸਾਧ-ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੂੜ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਰਗਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਸੋ ਸਾਧ-ਸੰਗਤ ਜੀ! ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਡਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫਰੇਬੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵਰਤੇ ਗਏ 'ਠੱਗ' ਅਤੇ 'ਚੋਰ' ਵਰਗੇ ਭੈੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਮਾਨ-ਜ਼ਨਕ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਜਾਂ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ। 

ਕੀ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਲੇ ਲਈ ਕੀ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ?
➢ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਤ ਬਾਬਾ ਤੇਜਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ, ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਲਾਭ-ਹਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਬੜੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਤਪੋ-ਭੂਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਉੱਚ-ਪੱਧਰ ਦੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਖੇ ਖੇਤੀ-ਬਾੜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿਚ ਹੇਠਲੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
➢ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਖੇਤੀ-ਬਾੜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਦੇ ਉੱਚ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਡ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਕਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋੜਿਆ, ਬਲਕਿ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਪੂੰਜੀ, ਤਨਖਾਹ ਤੇ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਆਦਿ ਇਸ ਚੈਰੀਟੇਬਲ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਲਈ ਖਰਚ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
➢ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ੧੯੮੬ ਈ: ਵਿਚ ਸਿਰਫ ੫ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੜੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਨਤੀਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋਈ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ੧੨੯ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀਆਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ੬੦ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਗ੍ਰਹਿਣ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ੨੫੦ ਬਿਸਤਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ, ਦੋ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਛਡਾਊ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਰਜ਼ ਵੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਕਲਾ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਦੇਣ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਨਿਤਨੇਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਂ ਬਾਣੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਜ਼ੂਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ਤੇ ਸਾਂਭ-ਸੰਭਾਲ ਵੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਬਾਰੇ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ:➢ ੨੧ ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਠੇਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ੨੩ ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸਕਦੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਰੈਲੀ 'ਤੇ ਲਿਜਾਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
➢ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਤਨੇ ਥੋੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਢੁਕਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਣ। ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਨਾਂਹ-ਪੱਖੀ ਹੀ ਸੀ।
➢ ਫਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਕੂਲ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਣ। ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਾਂਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਰੁਕਾਵਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜ਼ੂਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਕੂਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਅਸਲ ਕਾਰਨ:➢ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਲਗਭਗ ੧੨੦੦ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ:
➢ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ੨੦੦ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਕਲਗੀਧਰ ਟ੍ਰਸਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਵਰਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਟ੍ਰਸਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੱਸ ਇਸ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਰੈਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਗਈ।
➢ ੯੦੦ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਕਲਗੀਧਰ ਟ੍ਰਸਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਠੇਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਲਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ੨੦ ਬੱਸਾਂ ੨੩ ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ 'ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
➢ ੧੦੦ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖੁਦ ਕਿਰਾਏ 'ਤੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਲੈਣ-ਦੇਣ ਜਾਂ ਜਵਾਬ-ਦੇਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ੨੩ ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ੧੭ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਸੋ ਸਾਧ-ਸੰਗਤ ਜੀ, ਇਸ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਚਰਚਾ ਤੋਂ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੁੱਲ ੧੨੦੦ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ ੩੭ (੩%) ਬੱਸਾਂ, ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ 'ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਕੁੱਲ ੧੨੯ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ ੪ (੩%) ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਾਰ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਟਾਫ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸੀ।

ਸੋ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੈ ਕਿ:
੧) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਟਾਫ ੨੩ ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸੀ।
੨) ਕੇਵਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਚਾਰ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ੧੨੯ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਲਗਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਅਸੀਂ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ੁਰਮਾਨਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਜੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਰੂਲ ਜਾਂ ਨਿਯਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ। ਸੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਲਾਹ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ੨੩ ਤਾਰੀਕ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਊਟੀ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬਣਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।

ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਕਲਾ ਲਈ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸਖਸ਼ੀਅਤ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਵਰਤ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਇਹ ਭੈੜੀ ਕਰਤੂਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਹ ਲਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਕਲਾ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਬੜੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਆਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਾਧ-ਸੰਗਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਸਮਝ ਗਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜੋ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਕਲਾ ਲਈ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਕਾਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੁਕਾਵਟਾਂ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਯਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਹਨ।

ਸੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਾਧ-ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ, ਪਿਆਰ, ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਭ-ਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਗੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਖਸਿਸ਼ ਸਦਕਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਮਹਾਨ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਕੋਨੇ-ਕੋਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਵਿਚ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਸਕੀਏ।

Jug Suraiya, you need to grow up. Probably, with your english, you should have learnt a bit of Civility. This is a higher virtue than Tolerance.  Here is my rejoinder to your non-sensical humour in ToI editorial 13 Nov '15:

Santa: BJP said "Agar BJP haari to Pakistan mein patakhe jalenge". Jug Suraiya says "Anybody who is for banning sick Sikh Jokes is a Khalistani". 

Banta: How can this ageing Jugular Vein Juggu go senile?

Santa: They all do at this age. Even the son-of-a-gun Khushu went retarded. 

Banta: He loves leg-pieces so much that usually he puts his own in his mouth.

Santa: Ab-surdie! Juggu talks of free speech. He carries the flag post of Tolerance. Maybe he has a point there.

Banta: Exactly, all those whisky totting numb dumb seniles think they are Civilized. What they know is only English.

Santa: Does this Tomfool pinhead know that he cannot defecate ethnic jokes in any civilized society? We need Civility first and then Tolerance.

Banta: What if somebody eve-teases his daughter? Will Juggu counsel her to practice Tolerance or he would take upon the tormentor?

Santa: Juggu ke bhi 12 bajaney hain?

Banta: The dafy doesn't know that in 1738 Sikh warriors rescued thousands of young Hindu girls from the clutches of Ahmad Shah Abdali at the stroke of midnight. And what you give in return to us is "12 baj gaye sardar ke"

Santa: The rescued ridicule and taunt the Rescuers! Shame!

Banta: These high-perched liquor loving english speaking hi-society idiots have started all this to erase our history. To decimate the psyche of Sikh children.

Santa: And Juggu says that we are babies of Khushu. I thought we was well versed in history.

Banta: The dunce should know that Britishers invented Santa-Banta to destroy the morale of the Sikhs and to show them as louts, idiots. Because the Sikhs defied their annexation of Punjab by a century.
